Objectives
Convert a disused 400 m² municipal lot into a community vegetable & herb garden run by the local youth cohort.
Target group
14 young people (16–24), incl. 6 with fewer opportunities
Best practice
Weekly 'grow & talk' sessions pairing gardening with peer support circles kept attendance at 85%.
Challenges & how they were solved
Water access required negotiation with the municipality — solved with a rain-collection barrel system.
